Sandeepa S. Rajadhyaksha
Dr. Raj was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended college at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. After graduating medical school at University of Maryland School of Medicine, she went on to complete her pediatric residency training at University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Hospital (now part of the Rutgers System). After residency, she moved to Texas which she now considers home.
Dr. Raj has worked in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex for over 13 years, including almost 10 years at the outpatient clinics of Children’s Health. During that time, she served as the lead physician at one of the offices and then as an Associate Medical Director for several of the Children’s Health Pediatric Group Clinics. As a leader in the organization she worked to ensure the delivery of high quality care to children across the metroplex. She is board-certified in pediatrics, and is a member of the following: AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics), Texas Medical Association, Texas Pediatric Society, Collin-Fannin County Medical Society.
When not working, Dr. Raj enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, two sons, and dog. She loves sports and will cheer for Dallas teams --as long as they are not playing her beloved Baltimore Orioles or Ravens! She was thrilled when her #16 seed UMBC beat the #1 seed in the 2018 NCAA Men’s
Basketball tournament! She also enjoys baking, traveling, and relaxing with a good book!
